McIntosh soccer clinic
On Feb. 4, McIntosh High School’s soccer program hosted a “Super Skills” Clinic for both boys and girls in grades 4 through 8 from 9 a.m. to noon. Boys’ varsity head coach Bunky Colvin and girls’ varsity head coach Marcia Clark were present along with all the varsity players who participated in small group training. The special guest was Patrick Murray, freshman starter at Vanderbilt University, 2005 High School All-American, and Georgia Soccer Player of the Year who autographed soccer balls. This was a great opportunity for all who attended and the program was well-received. Participants received giveaways (provided by T&G Sports and Chick-Fil-A) and certificates. It is anticipated that the clinic will be held again next year. Proceeds from the clinic benefited the McIntosh High School Soccer Boosters. Photo/Special.
