Willie Eugenia Clowers, Newnan, died July 24, 2009. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Stitious Bernard Bussie. She was a native of Forsyth, Monroe County, Ga., and received her elementary and high school training from the Coweta County schools. She was graduated as the salutatorian of her class. She belonged to The Newnan Chapel United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the United Methodist Women, serving as treasurer. Her work was as a domestic worker. Services were at the Newnan Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Carol Helton officiating. Interment was at Eastview Cemetery. Survivors include sons, Michael and Lorie Clowers, and Andre Clowers; a sister, Annie Laura Clowers; six grandchildren; and aunt, Elisabeth Hart, Macon. Roscoe Jenkins Funeral Home, Newnan, was in charge.
