A Peachtree City man was arrested Wednesday after he put a knife to another man’s throat and threatened to kill him, police said.

The incident occurred at The Retreat apartment complex and the altercation between Charles Thomas “Tommy” Dolan and the victim left the victim with a superficial cut on his arm, police said.

Police said Dolan, 29, was then physically removed from the apartment by witnesses and police were contacted. When officers arrived Dolan had left the area, but officers began the investigation and collected evidence for arrest warrants, police said.

Dolan was later spotted in a breezeway just after midnight and fled on foot but was apprehended by Cpl. Pierson and taken into custody, police said.

Dolan, of Brookwood Path, Peachtree City was charged with aggravated assault, making terroristic threats and obstruction of a police officer.
