Nashville singer-songwriter JP Williams and his wife, Irene Williams, will perform a full concert at North Fayette United Methodist Church (NFUMC), 847 New Hope Rd., Fayetteville, Saturday, Aug. 1 at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Tickets are recommended to ensure seating and may be obtained by emailing requests to tickets@nfumc.com.

Blind since age 10, Williams was recently featured along with Irene on RFDTV’s “Music and Motors” program, where he shared his story of moving to Nashville to wholly pursue a career in songwriting.

He and Irene call themselves “The Blonde Leading The Blind” and write and perform together regularly.

“JP and Irene have great original music, and they also have a unique story of hope,” states Doug Burrell, senior minister of NFUMC. “We’re excited to host this evening for our neighbors — to share entertainment and inspiration at a time when we all need it most.”
