Houlder-Senger

Mary Kathryn Houlder, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steven William Houlder of Newnan, became the bride of Robert Bernard Senger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Senger II of Fayetteville, on Saturday, June 20, 2009, at the Newnan First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Joe Watson officiated.

Sister of the bride, Adele Houlder of Atlanta was the maid of honor. Other attendants were Melissa Minix of Newnan, Mrs. Melissa Duncan of Luthersville, Melissa Senger, sister of the groom, of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Natalie Senger, sister of the groom, of Los Angeles, Calif. Mrs. Leslianna Garlington, cousin of the bride, served as the registry attendant.

Eric Coyle of Troy, Ohio, served as best man. The groom’s attendants were Matt Krueger of Milwaukee, Wisc., Trevor Headley of West Palm Beach, Fla., Christopher Kahmann, cousin of the groom, of Dayton, Ohio, and Stephen Kahmann, cousin of the groom, also of Dayton, Ohio.

The bride, escorted by her father, wore a strapless ball gown which featured a fitted bodice with lace filigree flowers encrusted with miniature Swarovski crystals, a silk satin skirt, and semi-cathedral train. She wore a crystal floral tiara with a cathedral veil and carried a bouquet of white hydrangea, roses, freesia and lisianthus. Attached to the bouquet was a handkerchief belonging to the bride’s great grandmother.

Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a dinner and dance reception at the Newnan Country Club.

Mr. and Mrs. Senger enjoyed a wedding trip to Maui, Hawaii, and now reside in Peachtree City
