Branches plans Back-To-School Jam
The Branches Community Church will host a Back –To- School Jam/Cookout Saturday, Aug. 1, from 4-6 p.m. Free school supplies will be distributed during the event which will also include a Spoken Word contest, face painting, Wii sports (football) and jewelry making. Hamburgers, hot dogs and refreshments will be served. The event is open to the community. The Branches Community Church is at 282 Ga. Hwy. 314, Fayetteville. Healing ministry set for Aug. 1-30 in Tyrone
Beginning Aug. 1, Get Real Ministries will lead 30 days of special healing prayer and ministry at Operation Mobilization in Tyrone. Meetings will be held every night Aug. 1-30. More than 30 South-Metro area churches have come together for this unprecedented month-long event. It will be a time of seeking both wellness and unity for the community. CDM will host Youth Hype Night
Christ Discipleship Ministries (CDM), located at 114 W. Campbellton St., Fairburn, will host a Youth Empowerment Hype Night Summer Fest Friday, July 31, beginning at 7 p.m. Guest performers are Kurtis Blow, M.A.J.O.R.S., DJ Treyo, Sparky D., King C., and comedian Troy Huff.
