Saint Andrew’s Day School, the preschool and kindergarten of Saint Andrews in the Pines Episcopal Church in Peachtree City, recently held their field day event and combined the fun with a fundraiser for the Make a Wish Foundation of North Georgia. Before Field Day, the children of Saint Andrews heard  stories about children with life threatening illnesses who got to have a wish come true. These wishes not only benefit the children who are sick, but build positive memories for their families to cherish. Our little students thought of what wishes they would wish and these ranged from  a three year old who wished to drive a monster truck to a two  year old class who simply wished for ice cream. On Field Day, the children danced to the song Oh What a Miracle as they kicked off their day of fun and celebrated raising over $300 for Make A Wish. The students had a great time riding bikes, playing with a parachute and running an obstacle course and all the while, they knew they had helped other children have fun, too.
