Van sought in Senoia murder

Coweta County Sheriff’s investigators are looking for a camper-type conversion van in association with the Sept. 30 murder of Senoia businessman Ken Crook.

Sgt. John Lewis said Thursday that the suspect vehicle has been identified as being a Ford van, with the model year between 1980 and 1991. Lewis said the van is described as white in color and has a large entry door on the passenger side. Lewis said a reward is being offered for information leding to the recovery of the van.

Lewis said investigators have received numerous calls relating to similar vehicles but not the specific van being sought.

Forty-year-old Crook was owner of Crook’s Tire Center. He was found in his home, the victim of a fatal gunshot wound.
