Hopewell United Methodist Church in Tyrone will offer the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University series beginning Sunday, Aug. 23. All classes will run from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. “Financial Peace University is the most important step to changing your financial future,” a spokesperson said. “It is your total money makeover program. It takes the knowledge from God and turns it into real action in our lives through a step-by-step process taught by best-selling author and financial counselor Dave Ramsey.” FPU is a 13-week program that teaches how to make the right money decisions to achieve financial goals. The course includes practical lessons on eliminating debt, building wealth, giving like never before, and much, much more. Financial Peace University is for everyone ... from the financially secure to the financially distressed. More than 650,000 families and individuals have attended FPU. “Applying God’s Word radically changes your life,” the spokesperson continued. “On average, FPU graduates have paid off over $5,300 in debt and saved $2,700 during the 91-day program.” Class previews are scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 12 at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 16 at 4:30 p.m. The preview gives a good overview of the course and lasts about 30 minutes. The fee for all the classes and materials is $93 per person. Register for the classes at one of the previews or go online to DaveRamsey.com. Classes will be held at Hopewell UMC, 351 Jenkins Rd., Tyrone, directly across from Sandy Creek High School. For more information contact the church office, 770-306-7537. login to post comments |
