Jennifer Lee Crews and Harrell (Hal) Edward Davis Jr. were married at 5 p.m. Saturday, May 2, 2009, in Morris Chapel at Darlington School in Rome, Ga.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Jefferson Crews Jr. of Rome. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Betty Wollstein, the late Leo Arnold Wollstein Sr., Mrs. Julia Crews, and the late Thomas Jefferson Crews Sr. all of Rome.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roland Ivey of Fayetteville, and Harrell Edward Davis Sr. of Brooks. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Davis, the late Jeanette Davis, Mrs. Amelia Register, the late Herbert Register, all of Fayetteville and Mrs. Marion Ivey, of McDonough.

The Rev. David Campbell of Rome performed the double-ring ceremony.

Mary Gwendolyn Brannon of Atlanta was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Lana Tibbetts Holt of Atlanta, Brittany Shearer Hamlin of Nashville, Tenn., Molly Mathews Saft of Atlanta, Susan Holloman Walters of Atlanta, Lauren Melissa Wickline of Atlanta, and Whitney Keene Whittington of Ridgeland, Miss.

Gracie Ivey and Taylor Ivey, nieces of the groom, were the flower girls.

The bride, escorted by her father, chose a white, strapless bridal satin ballgown with a sweetheart neckline and curved Basque waistline, and chapel length train. She carried a bouquet of white roses wrapped with a hankerchief from her great-grandmother.

Michael Todd Lankford of Atlanta was the best man. Groomsmen were James William Clifton of Atlanta, Thomas Jefferson Crews III of Rome, Andrew Charles Doggendorf of Garden City, N.Y., Benjamin David Griggs of Athens, Bradley Steven Morris of Atlanta, and Christopher Michael Redmond of Augusta.

Asa and Addison Longino, nephews of the groom, were the ring bearers.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Forrest Place. After a wedding trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the couple will reside in Duluth.
