Nashville singer-songwriter JP Williams and his wife, Irene Williams, will perform a full concert at North Fayette United Methodist Church (NFUMC), 847 New Hope Rd., Fayetteville, Saturday, Aug. 1 at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Tickets are recommended to ensure seating and may be obtained by emailing requests to tickets@nfumc.com.

Williams’s distinct vocals and original music have scored him bookings everywhere from the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. to colleges throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern U.S.

Blind since age 10, he was recently featured along with Irene on RFDTV’s “Music and Motors” program, where he shared his story of moving to Nashville to wholly pursue a career in songwriting.

Following his move to Music City in 2006, he and Irene met and married. The two call themselves “The Blonde Leading The Blind” and write and perform together regularly.

“JP and Irene have great original music, and they also have a unique story of hope,” states Doug Burrell, senior minister of NFUMC. “We’re excited to host this evening for our neighbors — to share entertainment and inspiration at a time when we all need it most.”
