Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Carter of Peachtree City announce the engagement of their daughter, Lesley Brooke Carter, to “Philip” Ming-Tze Yeh, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Yeh of Mesquite, Texas.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of The Florida State University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and Kennesaw State University where she graduated with a master’s in business administration. She currently is employed by Place Properties in Atlanta.

The groom-elect is a graduate of The United States Naval Academy, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in oceanography and the Naval Postgraduate School, where he earned a master’s degree in mechanical engineering. He currently is a member of Engineering Duty Officer Community serving at Mayport Naval Station.

The wedding will be Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009, in Annapolis, Md. at the United States Naval Academy Chapel.

The couple will reside in Jacksonville, Fla. and will honeymoon in Hawaii in November.
