Fayetteville Christian plans mission trip
Members of Fayetteville Christian Church are planning a mission trip to Acuna, Mexico Oct. 5-9 to build a house with Casas por Christo. Information packets with application forms are available at the church. The application, medical release form, parental consent (if applicable) and $100 non refundable deposit are due at the church office by July 26. For more information, call the church, 770-461-8763.

‘Facing the Giants’ to be shown at Woolsey
Woolsey Baptist Church will show “Facing the Giants” for Movie Night this month. The movie will be shown Sunday night, July 26, at 5 p.m. at the church, 115 Hampton Road in Fayetteville. The community is invited to attend.

Van Dalen to speak at White Oak
White Oak Presbyterian Church in Coweta County will offer special services July 26-29 with special guest speaker the Rev. Frank van Dalen. The topic of van Dalen’s sermons will be “Real Christianity: Practical Christian Living in a Very Confused World!” Van Dalen will speak in Sunday, July 26, at 8:30 and 11 a.m. and again at 6 p.m., and on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 7 p.m. White Oak is on Gordon Road near its intersection with Ga. Highway 54, south of Turin.

CDM will host Youth Hype Night
Christ Discipleship Ministries (CDM), located at 114 W. Campbellton Street, Fairburn, will host a Youth Empowerment Hype Night Summer Fest Friday, July 31, beginning at 7 p.m. Guest performers are Kurtis Blow, M.A.J.O.R.S., DJ Treyo, Sparky D., King C., and comedian Troy Huff. Food available at New Beginnings
Those who need emergency food packages, may call the Good Shepherd Food Pantry at New Beginnings Praise and Worship Center, 404-405-8802. The ministry strives to help the needy to receive food for their families in their time of need. The center also accepts donations of non perishable items to the food pantry. New Beginnings is at 1091 South Jeff Davis Dr., Fayetteville.

Celebrate Recovery group meets Thursdays
Celebrate Recovery, a 12-step faith based program for anyone with hurts, hangups and habits, meets on Thursdays at 7 p.m. at Church of the Harvest-Fayette, 1653 Ga. Loving Choices group meets in PTC
GraceLife Ministries at First Baptist Church in Peachtree City offers a women’s support group, Loving Choices, which meets on Thursday nights from 7-8:30 p.m. The group is free, is open to women of all ages, and provides free childcare. GraceLife Support groups are for those who struggle with or who are in recovery from grief, anger, alcohol, drug and sexual addictions. GraceLife currently offers Men’s Freedom from addictions, Grief Share, and Loving Choices. Order ‘Angel Food’ from The Branches church
The Branches Community Church in Fayetteville is the host site for ordering food from Angel Food Ministries. Orders will be taken at the church, 282 Ga. Hwy. 314, Suite B, Fayetteville.
