Our healthcare system no better than Cuba’s

Thank you for publishing “Why federally funded universal healthcare is America’s future” by Kimberly Learnard.

Having done a little research on this issue, I was already familiar with some of the awful truths about our healthcare system.

For example, we pay more than any other country for healthcare and yet we have a system that is no better than Cuba’s.

Also, our current for-profit insurance system excludes people who have pre-existing conditions and rations care for those fortunate enough to have coverage.

Since all of the countries with better healthcare systems than ours have some form of a publicly funded system, we should adopt a similar structure.
