Danny and Sandra Duckworth of Jonesboro announce the upcoming marriage of their daugher, Rachel Erin Williams, to Ethan Daniel Waters, son of Ray D. and Jane Waters of East Point and Joy Reagin of Stockbridge. Rachel is also the daugher of Mark and Cindy Williams of Griffin.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Vanne Wacaser of Fayetteville and Jimmy and Linda Duckworth of Morrow. A 2005 graduate of Lovejoy High School, she attended Columbus State University and is employed in the human resources department of Clayton County Public School System.

The groom-elect’s grandparents are Ray and Dolores Waters of Stockbridge, Dewayne and Brenda Mayo of Carrollton and Frank Kendrick of McDonough. He was graduated from Lovejoy High School in 2003 and currently is pursing a degree in Bible studies at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va. He has recently assumed the duties of senior pastor at Glenn Memorial Baptist Church in Prospect, Va.

The wedding will be Aug. 1, 2009, at Glendalough Manor in Tyrone. Following a cruise to the Caribbean, the couple will reside in Virginia.
