Fayetteville, GA, June 25, 2009—Piedmont Fayette WLA Toastmasters became Fayette’s fourth Toastmasters club on March 24, 2009. Toastmasters International is the world’s largest educational organization specializing in communication and leadership training. Using this self-help program, members of Toastmasters clubs improve oral communication skills and effective leadership strategies with a hands on approach. Confidence in self and improvement in leadership abilities are advantages of becoming a Toastmaster. Members learn skills by watching others and improve abilities by practicing. A former member of High Noon Toastmasters, Carleton Williams, once stated ,”A Toastmaster stands up to be seen, speaks out to be heard, and sits down to be appreciated.”

     July 1, 2009 each Toastmaster club in Fayette begins a new year. High Noon Toastmasters, Peachtree City Toastmasters, and Westpark Toastmasters offer communication and leadership training to the community at large. Piedmont Fayette WLA presents communication and leadership training to employees of Piedmont Fayette Hospital who are members of their WLA. Anyone age eighteen and over is eligible to join a Toastmasters club. Westpark Toastmasters is a corporate sponsored club, chartered by CIBER, Inc. which is open to the community.

     Each Fayette Toastmasters club recently selected officers for the 2009-2010 year.  Incoming officers for High Noon Toastmaster are President, J.D.
