Makira Walton, 9 , of Peachtree City hosted her first Alex's Lemonade Stand on Saturday, June 13.  She and her cousins and a few friends raised over $700 to donate to Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, which is a charity focused on finding a cure for children with cancer.  Makira's stand was in memory of a family friend named Althea who lost her battle with leukemia when she was only two years old.  For more information on the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation or to donate to this worthy cause, visit http://www.alexslemonade.org/stands/10340.
