Steven Matthew "Matt" Borders, 32, Fayetteville, died June 27, 2009 from a tragic ATV accident. He loved motorcycles, racing and fishing. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Brian Farrington officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville.

Survivors include is wife, Melissa Logan Borders, Fayetteville; a daughter, Ella Rose Borders; parents, Steve and Vicki Borders; maternal grandparents, Ed and Betty Thompson; sisters, Kim and Jim McNair and Haley and Andy Brown; parents-in-law, Bill and Monica Logan; sisters-in-law, Amanda and Brian Hall and Melinda and Ashley St. John; four nephews; and four nieces. Memorial donations may be made to the Borders family at Heritage Bank, 440 N. Jeff Davis Dr., Fayetteville, GA 30214. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
