Peachtree City’s Ryan Housley has been named one of 30 community All-Stars by Major League Baseball and People Magazine.

Housley is honored for his efforts with Herobox, a non-profit organization he founded to create customized care packages for U.S. troops stationed overseas.

Housley will be recognized with the other winners at the annual MLB All-Star Game July 14 at 8 p.m. in St. Louis, Mo. He and Herobox are the representatives at the All-Star Game for the Atlanta Braves.
