COS to host ‘God and Country’ weekend
Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City will celebrate God and Country Weekend July 4-5. Readings, scriptures and music have been chosen to acknowledge and honor the nation’s heritage. The church is on the corner of Ga Highway 54 and Peachtree Parkway.

Liberty Baptist will have VBS June 6-10
Liberty Baptist Church will have “Boomerang Express: It All Comes Back To Jesus” Vacation Bible School July 6 - 10 from 9 a.m. - noon. Children in K-5 - through completed sixth grade are eligible to attend. Liberty Baptist is at 1077 Ga. Hwy. 314, north of Fayetteville. National Heights VBS starts July 13
“Gadget’s Garage” (God’s Always Doing Great Exciting Things) is the theme of Vacation Bible School at National Heights Baptist Church planned for July 13-17 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. for children K thru fifth grade. There will be a registration party Saturday, July 11 from 9 a.m. - noon or register online at www.nationalheightsbaptistchurch.org. National Heights is on Ga. Highway 54 West at the intersection of Old Norton and Sandy Creek Roads, Fayettevillle.

Brooks UMC sets VBS for July 13-17
Camp E.D.G.E. VBS will be held July 13 through 17 from 9 a.m. until noon, Monday through Friday, at Brooks United Methodist Church. The cost is $10 per child. There will be a luncheon and a small closing program for parents on Friday that will begin at 11:30 am. Ages 3 – fifth grade are encouraged to attend. The church is at 119 Morgan Mill Rd. in Brooks, just three miles south of Starr’s Mill on the corner of Morgan Mill and Ga. 85 Connector.

‘Facing the Giants’ to be shown at Woolsey
Woolsey Baptist Church will show “Facing the Giants” for Movie Night this month. The movie will be shown Sunday night, July 26, at 5 p.m. at the church, 115 Hampton Road in Fayetteville. The community is invited to attend.
