Holy Trinity’s CCW plans July 7 meetingTue, 06/23/2009 - 12:32pm

The Council of Catholic Women (CCW) at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City will meet July 7 at 7 p.m. in the multi-purpose room for a wine and cheese party to help organize projects, fundraisers, retreats and other activities. Special guest speaker will be Sonja Strickland from Promise Place and the Fayette County Council on Domestic Violence, who will discuss the shelter and ways of helping women and children of Fayette County. A 50-50 drawing will be held. Future meetings will be held the first Tuesday of every other month at 7 p.m. at the church. Dates are Sept. 1 and Nov. 3, 2009, and Jan. 6, March 3 and May 5, 2010. The National Council of Catholic Women (NCCW) acts through its membership to support, empower and educate all Catholic women in spirituality, leadership and service. Holy Trinity Catholic Church is on the corner of Walt Banks Road and Ga. Highway 54 in Peachtree City, next to McIntosh High School..
