Compensatory Justic

JUSTICE FOR SALE: Stallworth gets 30 days incarceration for vehicular manslaughter of a human being and Vick got 23 months incarceration for dog fighting. Since there is no compensation for the families of Vick's victims, should his sentence have been as long? Why is justice determined by how much one is willing to pay for one's freedom?
