Mr. and Mrs. Paul Kavsak of Pittsburgh, Pa., announce the engagement of their daughter, Sara Kavsak, to Matthew Robert Huntley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Huntley of Peachtree City.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Johnson of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Kavsak of Erie, Pa. She is a graduate of Georgia Southern University where she earned a bachelor of science in secondary mathematics education and will complete her master’s of education in teaching and learning with a focus in secondary mathematics this July at Georgia Southern University. She currently teaches mathematics at Effingham County High School in Springfield, Ga.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Geneva Huntley of Peachtree City and the late Sidney Huntley, and the late Edward and Dorothy Boyer of North Olmsted, Ohio. A graduate of McIntosh High School, he earned his bachelor’s in history education at Georgia Southern University and his master’s degree in administration supervision at the University of Phoenix. He currently teaches social studies at Effingham County High School in Springfield and is assistant coach of varsity baseball and head coach of girls fast pitch softball.

A summer wedding is planned in Pittsburgh, Pa. The newlyweds will reside in Guyton, Ga.
