Top court's move throws Chrysler deal in doubtTop court's move throws Chrysler deal in doubt It also triggered fears on both sides of the border that the rescue of the Detroit automaker, so carefully orchestrated by the administrations of Barack Obama and Stephen Harper and backed by more than US$4.5-billion of taxpayer money in a fast-track process, is about to unravel, putting thousands of jobs at risk in Canada and the United States. Let's hope for the sake our country that this does unravel. Let's hope that the rule of law still stands and means something in this country.
