The Southern Regional Spay/Neuter Leadership Conference will take place in Atlanta November 3-6, 2005. The focus of this year's conference is on fostering collaborative efforts to research and develop effective statewide sterilization programs for the humane control of numbers of dogs and cats. This conference is designed for animal advocates who wish to take an active role in reducing the number of homeless dogs and cats that enter animal shelters. Presenters include Richard Avanzino, Peter Marsh, Esther Mechler and many others, including representatives of spay/neuter programs in the south that are accomplishing sustained, measured results.
