CDM plans Youth Explosion May 30
Christ Discipleship Ministries (CDM) in Fairburn will host a Youth Explosion on Saturday, May 30 from 5-8 p.m. Special guest will be rap artist M.A.J.O.R.S. For further information and/or directions, contact the CDM office, 770-969-8370.

Open Door to host ‘Old Fashion Day’
Open Door Baptist Church in Coweta County invites the community to “Old Fashion Day” Sunday, May 31. Sunday school is at 10 a.m., worship is at 11, followed by lunch on the grounds. The event will feature pictures, games and fun. Those attending are asked to bring their lawn chairs and blankets. In case of rain, the event will be held inside the church. Fifth Sunday Fellowship is May 31
The FCCF (Fellowship of Christian Churches and Friends) will host its fifth Sunday fellowship at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Peachtree City on May 31, at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Dwight Elder is the pastor. Dinner will be served from 1-2 p.m. The focus of the event will be on senior citizens, so those planning to attend are urged to dress in “old-fashioned” attire. North Fayette UMC starts VBS June 1
All children, ages 4 years through fifth grade, are invited to attend Camp E.D.G.E. (Experience and Discover God Everywhere) Vacation Bible School at North Fayette United Methodist Church, June 1-5, from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Camp E.D.G.E. will take children to an extreme adventure camp featuring contemporary music, recreation games, science activities, sports videos, and crafts. ‘Building Dreams’ variety show set for June 6
Square Foot Ministry will present a variety show, “Building Dreams ‘09” Saturday, June 6, at 7 p.m. at Sams Auditorium in Fayetteville. The event will also feature The Chicken Man. Proceeds will benefit home construction for low income families and the Fayette Counseling Center. Tickets may be purchased at SFMTickets@yahoo.com. Anniversary singing scheduled

CCWW VBS starts June 8
All kids ages 4 through fifth grade are invited to the Crocodile Dock Vacation Bible School at Christ’s Church at Whitewater in Fayetteville, Monday-Friday, June 8-12, from 9 a.m. - noon. At Crocodile Dock VBS, kids join a Bayou Crew where they form a small group. Each “crew” of kids will get to visit five different stations each day where they will experience crafts, Bible points, snacks, and missions.
