PTC UMC starts new Grief Share group
A new Grief Share support group for those who have lost a loved one will begin at Peachtree City United Methodist Church Thursday, May 21, from 6:30-8 p.m., and will continue each Thursday for 14 weeks. The group is open to anyone in the community. The cost is $15 and includes a workbook. The group meets in room 308 at the church, 225 Robinson Rd. CDM to host revival May 21, 22
Christ Discipleship Ministries (CDM) in Fairburn will host a Back To Jesus Revival on Thursday and Friday, May 21 and 22 at 8 p.m. each evening. The speaker will be Prophet Timothy Frazier. Fayette Family Church will host cookout
Fayette Family Church invites the community to its Annual Memorial Day Cook-Out on Sunday, May 24 beginning at 5 p.m. There will be jump houses, games, prizes and food. Live music will be provided by “Total Praise.” Everything is free. The church is at 1729 Ga. Hwy. 54 W., Fayetteville.

Fifth Sunday Fellowship planned
The FCCF (Fellowship of Christian Churches and Friends) will host its “Fifth Sunday Fellowship” at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Peachtree City on May 31, at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Dwight Elder is the pastor. Dinner will be served from 1-2 p.m. The focus of the event will be on senior citizens, so those planning to attend are urged to dress in “old-fashioned” attire. Elder Nathaniel Livingston from True Love Christian Ministries in Fayetteville will be the host speaker.Bethlehem Baptist is at 475 Dividend Dr., Peachtree City. Anniversary singing scheduled
Second Coming Ministries will celebrate its 15th anniversary with a singing on Saturday, June 6, at 6 p.m. at Victory Tabernacle Church on Grieson Trail in Newnan. ‘Bethlehem Blast’ set for June 13
Bethlehem Baptist Church in Fairburn will have a “Bethlehem Blast” day of community activities Saturday, June 13, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Activities include crafts, basketball, face painting, horseshoes, obstacle course, slides, moonwalk, relays and and sack races. Door prizes will be awarded, cotton candy and popcorn will be available, and there will be a Gospel presentation. The church is at 5485 Bethlehem Rd., Fairburn. East Newnan Baptist VBS starts June 14
East Newnan Baptist Church of Newnan will have Vacation Bible School Sunday, June 14 through Friday, June 19. On Sunday, VBS will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. On Monday through Friday, sessions will be from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Children are invited to join the Boomerang Express for a train ride across the Land Down Under. Providence UMC VBS
“Crocodile Dock: where fearless kids shine God’s light” will be offered at Providence United Methodist Church June 15-19 from 9 a.m.-noon for children 4 years through rising fifth grade. PTC Presbyterian VBS opens registration
SonRock Kids Camp 2009 will be held at Peachtree City First Presbyterian Church June 22-26 beginning at 9 a.m. each day. Children from rising kindergarten through rising fifth graders are eligible.
