The Landmark Christian School Lady War Eagles won the region 5-A title on Saturday night by defeating Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy 41-40. The win gives Landmark a home game against Trion to open the Class A tournament next Saturday.

Sandy Creek's Lady Patriots missed winning their second consecutive region title with a 43-34 loss to Woodward Academy. As the second seed from region 4-AAAA, the Lady Patriots will open the Class AAAA tournament with a home game against Warner Robins.

Sandy Creek's boys are the fourth seed from region 4-AAAA after a heart-breaking last second 58-57 loss to Chapel Hill on Saturday. The Patriots will open the Class AAAA tournament with a game at Griffin next Friday.
