Hazel Adams Parrott, 89, Fayetteville, died May 8, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Parrott Jr., parents, John and Clara Hammock Adams; and grandsons, Jeff Wilson, Keith Bishop, and Andrew Paul Knight. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Bill Priester and the Rev. Jerry Cross officiating.

Interment was at Flat Creek Cemetery, Fayetteville. Survivors include her children, Doug and Betty Parrott, and Dianne and David Long, all of Fayetteville, Dal and Lorene Parrott, Senoia, Darlene and Steve Wisenbaker, Newnan, and Deborah and Johnny Knight, LaGrange; 21 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Maxine Law, Florida; and sisters-in-law, Ethelyn Adams, and Sue Adams, both of Fayetteville. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
