Mr. and Mrs. Brandon H. Stevens of Tyrone announce the engagement of their daughter, Callie Brooke Stevens, to David Jose’ Perez, son of Jose’ and Yolanda Perez of Norcross.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mrs. Barbara B. Fields and the late A. McKinnon Fields of Fairburn, and Mr. and Mrs. Corvis and Peggy Stevens of Marietta. She is an honor graduate of McIntosh High School. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a major in marketing from the Terry Business College at the University of Georgia and a bachelor of arts in journalism with a major in advertising from the Grady Journalism and Mass Communication School, also at the University of Georgia. She also holds a minor in Spanish. She is currently employed by Southern company in Atlanta.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of the late José and América Pérez and Mrs. Yolanda Montano of Miami, Fla. and the late Pedro Montano. He is an honor graduate of Norcross High School and a cum laude graduate of the Terry Business School at the University of Georgia where he received a bachelor’s degree in business administration in finance and a minor in Spanish. He currently works as a senior associate in valuation and business modeling for Ernst & Young in Atlanta.

The wedding will be held in Atlanta on Sept. 19, 2009. The couple plans to honeymoon in Costa Rica.
