Norma Frances Allen Fender, Peachtree City, formerly of Roanoke, Va., died April 25, 2009. She was born April 21, 1922 in Winston-Salem, N.C. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Quentin Fender, a brother, Buddy Allen, and sisters, Wilma Martin and Mary Shaver. She taught dancing in Roanoke for many years prior to moving to Peachtree City. She was a faithful member of Peachtree City United Methodist Church and especially loved her Sunday School class.

Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Sean Robinson officiating. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include a son, Rob and Chris Fender, Virginia Beach, Va.; a daughter, Jeanne and Bob Burks, Peachtree City; a grandson, David and Martha Burks, Springfield, Ga.; great-grandchildren, Mallory and Matt Burks, Springfield, Ga.; and a sister, Martha and Clyde Angell. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
