African Children’s Choir to appear at Trinity Fellowship

The internationally acclaimed African Children’s Choir will perform at Trinity Fellowship Church Sunday, May 10, at 9:30 and 11 a.m.

The choir has been entertaining audiences for 25 years, all while raising awareness of the plight of Africa’schildren.

“Many of the children in the choir have lost one or both parents to poverty and disease,” a spokesperson said, “yet, in spite of the tragedies that have marred their young lives, the children radiate hope.”

Founder Ray Barnett says, “The needs among African children are so great because of war and the AIDS pandemic sweeping across that continent yet these children are so full of joy. They truly are ambassadors of hope to the nations.”

The African Children’s Choir is currently providing care and education for several thousand underprivileged children throughout Africa.
