Fayette Presbyterian plans Spring Fling
Fayette Presbyterian Church will have its annual Spring Fling Saturday, May 9, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. The free event will feature fun, food, games and music. The church is at 791 Forest Ave, Fayetteville.

New Hope plans beach party
New Hope Baptist Church, North Campus, will have an Alive Beach Party Wednesday, May 13, from 6-9 p.m. for all middle and high school students. Special guest will be pro surfer Bethany Hamilton and the band, “After Edmund.” For more information, visit the church website, www.newhopebc.org.

Georgia Singers to appear at FFUMC
The Fayetteville First United Methodist Church will host the Georgia Singers in concert Sunday, May 17 at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary. The Georgia Singers consists of a select group of young women singers under the direction of Dr. Frank Green and accompanied by Rick Massengale. The program will include a varied selection songs from Broadway to sacred music. FFUMC is in downtown Fayetteville across the street from the Fayette County Courthouse.

F’ville Christian plans blood drive
Members of Fayetteville Christian Church will have a blood drive Monday, May 18, from 2:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the church, New Hope and Hickory roads, Fayetteville. For more information, call the church office, 770-461-8763.

PTC UMC starts new Grief Share group
A new Grief Share support group for those who have lost a loved one will begin at Peachtree City United Methodist Church Thursday, May 21, from 6:30-8 p.m., and will continue each Thursday for 14 weeks. The group is open to anyone in the community. The cost is $15 and includes a workbook. The group meets in room 308 at the church, 225 Robinson Rd.
