Mr. and Mrs. Mark Sturgill of Peachtree City announce the engagement of their daughter, Jenna Leigh Sturgill, to Robert Craig Hyatt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Hyatt of Fayetteville.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr.and Mrs. Byron Sturgill of Piney Flats, Tenn. and the late Dr. and Mrs. John M. Reisser of Memphis, Tenn. She is a 2005 graduate of McIntosh High School. A four year varsity soccer player, she will graduate from Samford University in May with a bachelor of science degree in nursing.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hyatt of Peachtree City and Mr. and Mrs. Stanford Hunter of Vienna, Va. He is a 2005 graduate of Starr’s Mill High School and will graduate in May from the United States Air Force Academy with a bachelor of science degree in management. Following graduation, he will be commissioned as a second lieutenent in the U.S. Air Force.

The wedding is planned for July 10, 2009 at First Baptist Church Peachtree City. Following a honeymoon to Antigua, the couple will be stationed at Columbus Air Force Base in Columbus, Miss., where the groom will begin pilot training and the bride will pursue her nursing career.
