Mucklow’s Fine Jewelry in Peachtree City will be hosting an event for children the next two Saturdays, Apr. 25, and May 2, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and Sundays, Apr. 26 and May 3, from noon to 3 p.m. For these afternoons, Robert Mucklow will be teaching the children how to make a sterling silver bracelet or necklace to give to their mothers on Mother’s Day. Children of all ages, accompanied by an adult, are welcome. The cost to make the bracelet is $35, necklaces are $25, and for every gift made Mucklow’s Fine Jewelry will be making a $10 donation to Promise Place, a Fayette organization that helps victims of domestic violence.
