A talent show fundraiser will be held tonight at 6 p.m. at McIntosh High School’s auditorium to help the American Red Cross with relief for victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Tickets for the event are $5 and available at the door; an Ipod music player will be given away as a door prize.

The 13 acts scheduled to perform include three bands, solo singers, piano numbers, a dance team performance and a martial arts demonstration. The event is sponsored by the McIntosh Interact Club, which is sponsored by the Peachtree City Rotary Club.

Club members will run the show and emcee the event, and judges will be Peachtree City Mayor Harold Logsdon, Tourism Association Executive Director Lauren Yawn and Joan Velsmid, chairman of the Fayette Commission on the Arts.
