Fayetteville Main Street welcomes in the warmer weather this Friday with the first Lunch on the Lawn event in 2009. From 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., residents and local employees are encouraged to take their lunch break to the old courthouse lawn in downtown Fayetteville. PiesOn Pizza will be selling pizza lunch combos for $5, but people can bring their own lunch as well.

Local jazz trio, The Sub-Silicas will be entertaining the crowd with classics and originals.

The event also concludes Georgia Cities Week, which seeks to draw public attention to the positive influence cities have on the quality of life in their communities.
