Starship Adult Novelties & Gifts attorney Alan Begner (pictured), along with Coweta County consultant attorney Scott Bergthold took turns at the podium April 13 in a business license appeal hearing before the Tax Rate Review and Appeals Committee over the denial of a business license for the company’s Thomas Crossroads location. The committee could not reach a decision after nearly 5 hours of a court-like proceeding.
