Questions have arisen over possible sightings of Fayetteville’s Hollingsworth House chef Brandon Patton, missing since April 2 when he left his Atlanta home to visit his 3-year-old daughter in Tampa.

Channel 2 Action News reported Monday that a woman said she spoke with Patton on April 6 at Crabby Bill’s Restaurant in St. Petersburg. The TV news also reported April 4 that his truck had been seen in Lakeland, Fla., with two men inside, though neither man matched Patton’s description.

A former Fayette County resident now living in Atlanta, 28-year-old Patton began the journey to pick up his young daughter from her mother’s home in Tampa, said Hollingsworth House co-owner Belinda Fitch. The father and daughter were to go on vacation, Fitch said.

Patton has worked for two years as executive chef at the Hollingsworth House in Fayetteville.

Fitch said late last week that there had been sightings of Patton’s gold Chevy S-10 pick-up truck, but neither he or the truck had been located. The vehicle’s Georgia license number is ATL 9015.

Anyone with information relating to Patton’s disappearance is asked to contact Atlanta Police Department’s Adult Missing Person’s Squad at 404-853-4235 ext. 45614.

The family has also set up an email address where tips can be sent at HelpFindBrandon@gmail.com.
