The McDonough Road Baptist Church has rescheduled its “Spring Fling” for this Saturday, April 18, from noon until 2 p.m. on the front lawn of the church. Severe weather forced the postponement of the event originally set for March 28.

A cup cake walk, egg relay, sack race, craft table, face painting, and Mr. Pins the balloon sculpting clown are among the many activities scheduled. A Fayette County fire truck will be on display, and the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office will sponsor the EZ Child Identification booth. The Chick-fil-A cow will also appear. Hot dogs will be served.

The event is free and open to the public.

“We think our Spring Fling will be a lot of fun, and will also be a service to the community,” said David L. Chancey, pastor.
