Patti and David Burke of Fayetteville and Randy and Nancy O’Neal of Sharpsburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Stacey O’Neal of Carrollton, to Eric Gibbs, also of Carrollton, son of Mike and Terri Gibbs, formerly of Fayetteville, currently residing in Detroit, Mich.

Both the bride-to-be and the groom-elect are 2002 graduates of Fayette County High School and both are graduates of the University of West Georgia in Carrollton.

The bride-to-be received a bachelor’s degree in business administration and the groom-elect received a bachelor of fine arts degree in printing.

The wedding will be Sept. 5, 2009, at the Southern Oaks Plantation in Fayetteville.
