All My Sons
Arthur Miller wrote some of the finest dramas in the history of theater and while “Death of a Salesman” and “The Crucible” are two of his more popular works, his play “All My Sons,” resonates just as strongly as those works. “All My Sons” focuses on the havoc that one bad choice wreaks on two families and the themes of loyalty, honor, trust and integrity are detly touched upon by Miller’s heart-wrenching story.

Set in the years after World War II in an undisclosed part of America, Chris Keller (Matthew Drake) is planning on proposing to Ann Deever (Alexandra Clausen ), .his brother Larry’s former girlfriend. Larry, who was a pilot in the war, has been missing for several years and while Chris and his father, Joe (Keith Williams), believe him to be dead, his mother, Kate (Janet Reed), clutches to the hope that he is still alive somewhere and refuses to allow Chris to move in on his “brother’s girl.” Another problem that arises is that Ann’s father, a former employee of Joe’s, went to prison for patching up cylinder heads on planes during the war, leading to the deaths of hundreds of U.S. soldiers. When Ann’s brother George (Michael Boylan) learns of Ann’s impending engagement, he rushes back to his former hometown to stop the wedding and confront Joe about what really happened at the factory on that fateful day several years before.

Other performers in the show include Kelly and Sarah Davenport as Dr. and Mrs. Jim and Sue Bayless, Andrew Medlin and Adrienne Harris as Mr and Mrs. Frank and Lydia Lubey and Tyler Shellnutt as Bert. The show is directed by Marian Johnson and stage managed by Jackie Williams.
