Father’s will be dusting off their dancing shoes, and daughters will be putting on their party dresses this weekend. It’s time for the annual Father-Daughter Valentine’s Dance.

Those in attendance will enjoy an evening filled with memories for both fathers and daughters who are 6 to 12 years old. Music, dancing, finger foods, photos, keepsake, a dance contest, and prizes are planned for this year’s festivities.

Due to the popularity of last year’s event, the Father-Daughter Valentine’s Dance will be held on two nights this year, Friday and Saturday, from 7 to 9 p.m. at The Gathering Place, 203 McIntosh Trail in Peachtree City.

The cost per couple is $30 and for each additional daughter a $15 charge will apply. Space is limited so contact Peachtree City Parks and Recreation Department at 770-631-2542 to register.
