Mr. and Mrs. Steven William Houlder of Newnan announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Kathryn Houlder, to Robert Bernard Senger III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bernard Senger Jr. of Fayetteville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Nancy Williams Ludwig of Huntsville, Ala., and the late Robert Vaughan Williams and Mrs. Dorothy Mae Houlder of Memphis, Tenn., and the late Clifford James Houlder. She is employed as an elementary school teacher with the Coweta County School System.

The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Neal Carter of Ellenton, Fla., and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bernard Senger of Hamilton, Ohio. He is employed at Panasonic in Peachtree City as a software test engineer and tool developer.

The wedding will be June 20, 2009, at 5 p.m., at First United Methodist Church in Newnan.
