Need a checklist of constitutional violations?Tue, 03/31/2009 - 3:29pm

The three biggest threats to our Constitution are (1) those currently in power in our federal government, (2) a mass media that ignores any story that conflicts with its liberal/progressive ideology, and (3) those clueless citizens/voters, like Dana Felger, who blissfully celebrate their comprehensive ignorance by criticizing those of us who possess some awareness. So, Dana, let me share just some of the things that have been going on here in the USA while you were in La La Land. Congress passed an $800 billion plus “stimulus” package that was actually a laundry list of social welfare, pork-laden additions, and paybacks for unions that supported Democrats. It was so bad that Congressional leaders would not even let anyone in Congress read the bill before they had to vote on it. How do you vote for or against something you have not read? Congress is pushing the union card check issue. It will take away the secret ballot in order to pressure individuals to vote for unionization and require binding federal arbitration if the two sides cannot reach an agreement. Even far-left George McGovern has done commercials against this usurpation of freedom. Congress and the President want cap and trade. It is a giant taxation vehicle to capitalize on what was once “man-made global warming” but now is called “climate change” because the earth has been cooling since the fiction flick, “An inconvenient Truth.” Proponents of “climate change,” such as Al Gore, refuse to debate the issue in any form, but instead work to demonize or marginalize opponents because the notion of man-made climate change cannot hold up in a public forum. Climate has never been stable and no one can even tell you the earth’s ideal temperature. On March 18, 2009, the Fed monetized $1 trillion in debt to buy back mortgage-backed securities and long-term treasury notes. Because it cannot find enough fools to loan them the cash, the Fed is just going to print the money. Monetization has never worked and it is THE engine for hyperinflation. Look it up. The federal government is trying to take over our local schools by allocating massive budget amounts for education, all with strings attached to control what is done or not done. It is payback to the teachers’ unions. The “stimulus” package included increased funds to help with unemployment, but would require states to permanently continue putting the extra money into unemployment when the federal funds run out in a year or two, yet another unbridled attempt to control how states spend their money. The presidential administration insisted that the AIG bonuses remain in the bailout legislation, then roundly criticized AIG, along with Congress, who voted for it, for actually paying out the bonuses. Huh? Then Congress voted to tax one group of people, AIG execs, just to punish them. If you disagree with Congress, you will be part of the next group arbitrarily unconstitutionally taxed. It is just another part of the class warfare strategy the Democrats have used to obtain their power. Timothy Geithner has now said that he wants power to seize companies as he sees fit, even those that are not on Wall Street or a part of the current financial mess. Hugo Chavez must be so proud of him. Obama said he wanted to improve relations with other countries around the world. But the European Union, China, and many others are criticizing America for its massive deficit spending. The Polish president of the EU called the U.S plan to spend its way out of recession “a road to hell.” This is just the tip of the iceberg, Dana. If you want more, I will give it to you later. You may remain in La La Land if you like, Dana, but I owe it to my now profoundly indebted children and grandchildren to fight for our freedom and the Constitution in any way necessary. Remember, Dana, the federal government was created by the states, not the states by the federal government. Georgia does not answer to the federal government, but rather it answers to Georgia.
