Brooks UMC to present comedy tonight
Brooks United Methodist Church will present a night of comedy, “Hope Through Hilarity,” featuring comedian Scott Davis, Wednesday, April 1, at 7 p.m. For more information go to www.scottdavis.org or call Brooks UMC at 770-719-7593. Mt. Olive plans yard sale, fish fry
The Mt. Olive Baptist Church will have a Yard Sale and Fish Fry Saturday, April 4. Those wishing to rent a table can call the church at 770-892-7508 and leave a message for Deacon Alvin Ponder. The table rental is $25. The yard sale will begin at 7 a.m. The fish fry will start at 11 a.m. and continue until 5 p.m. Mount Olive is in northwest Fayette County at 1565 Ga. Hwy. 92 North.

Inman to host egg hunt
Inman United Methodist Church will host an Easter Egg Hunt for children through fifth grade Saturday, April 4, at the Youth House. The events for children preschool through second grade will be from 2-4 p.m. Easter Egg Hunt in the Dark for children in third through fifth grade will be from 6-8 p.m. Egg Hunts include a Bible lesson, crafts, games, snacks and the egg hunt. NFUMC offers special music this Sunday
The North Fayette UnitedMethodist Church Chancel Choir, Orchestra, and LuAnn Latzanich will present Theodore Dubois‘ “The Seven Last Words of Christ,” on Palm Sunday, April 5, at the 8:45 a.m. and 11 a.m. worship celebrations. Also featured will be the solo voices of Kim Bryan, soprano, Bill Bryan, bass, and Jim Marks, tenor. Angel Food orders taken April 11
The Branches Community Church, host site for Angel Food Ministries, will take orders for boxes of food Saturday, April 11, from 10 a.m. until noon. The cost is $30 and payment may be made by cash, money order or food stamps. Pick up will be Saturday, April 18, from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Orders also are taken online at www.angelfoodministries.com with payment by debit or credit card. The church is at 282 Ga. New Hope Egg Hunt is April 11
New Hope Baptist Church will have an Easter EGGStravanagza Saturday, April 11, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. The event will feature breakfast with the pastor, egg hunts for children in preschool through fifth grade, inflatables, clown shows, face painting and family fun. Holocaust Remembrance set for April 19
On Sunday April 19, Congregation B’nai Israel in Fayetteville will host the annual Yom Hashoah program with Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church. The Holocaust Remembrance Day Service starts at 4 p.m., followed by a reception with complimentary food. The entire community is invited to attend this moving service.
