Mrs. Connie Levesque of Lewiston, Maine, announces the engagement of her daughter, Karyn Theresa Levesque, to Daniel Paul Laterza, son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Laterza of Peachtree City.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of the late Daniel Levesque. She is a 2003 graduate of The University of Georgia. She earned her master’s degree from Georgia State University in education for speech pathology. She currently is employed at Integra Health and Rehabilitation.

The groom-elect is a 2004 graduate of Georgia State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is currently employed as the club manager at Green Island Country Club in Columbus, Ga.

A beach wedding is planned for Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009 in Destin, Fla. The couple will reside in Columbus.
