Mr. and Mrs. Steven West of Tyrone announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Leah West, to Jonathan Brooks May, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Thomas May III of Fayetteville.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Samuel E. West of Nashville, Tenn. She is a graduate of Mercer University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in human services with a minor in early childhood education. She currently is employed by Promise Place.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Bobby F. Anderson of Fayetteville. He is a graduate of Fayette County High School and is currently employed by Standard door in Atlanta.

A May wedding is planned at Harps Crossing Baptist Church in Fayetteville, with a reception to follow in Alvaton. Following a seven day Caribbean Cruise honeymoon, the couple will reside in Tyrone.
