C. Leroy Howard, 86, Newnan, died March 13,2009. He was born Oct. 21, 1922 in Newnan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Susie Mae Camp Howard, and sisters, Mamie H. Bean, and Joanne H. Williams. Services were at the McKoon Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Dr. Joel Richardson officiating. Interment was at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Newnan. Survivors include a son, Ted Howard, Newnan; a daughter, Carol Howard, Orlando, Fla.; a sister, Edna H. Walker, Newnan; and former wife, Marjorie Greer Howard, Cartersville. McKoon Funeral Home, Newnan, was in charge.
