By: The Citizen
“A Laugh For Life!” Comedy Concert with nationally renowned ventriloquist David Pendleton is coming to New Hope Baptist Church, North, 551 New Hope Road in Fayetteville, Friday night, April 3, at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. Tickets are $10 per person or $25 for an immediate family and can be purchased (cash or check only) at the door, online (www.billglasscfl.org) and picked up night of concert or purchased at any of these locations: Crossroads Church, Woolsey Baptist Church (770-461-9618, www.woolseybaptist.org) and New Hope Baptist Church, North and South Campuses. “David makes his audience believe that anything can talk. With his humor and technique, he has his audience laughing the whole time,” a spokesperson said. “In his comedy concerts, he has many characters, which include the lovable, blunt Aunt Tilly, a 94-year old spinster, quick-witted troublemaker Mack Elroy with his laid-back sidekick, Buford the Beagle and Vern, a slightly misguided albino Vulture, and surprise appearances by some in the audience. During his performance, he mixes in humorous truths of God’s plan for our lives.” Log onto www.BillGlasscfl.org for more information.
